Working on a decal for the boat my friend built. The name is Hansie. Apparantly her great grandfather collected city pigeons and gave them all this name, so she'd like pigeons or wings to play a part in the graphic. These are my initial thoughts. I'd like to do some wing explorations later on.
Any thoughts?

They all look like brands and not the name of a single boat--which i don't think is necessarily a bad thing--but the question is, what kind of brand would you friend's boat be?

'collected'? like, the carcasses, or fed them and communed with them daily in the square on my walk to work, the dirty dirty bastards? i agree with ryan's comment. have you considered enlarging the pigeon and placing the name inside the profile? i guess that would be more of a true brand. unless you added more details(wing shape, etc.), than it would read more as art. otherwise i like #3. would you reverse the rat with wings on the other side so that its looking forward always?
is the grandfather South African?
